Beth is the Director of Savannah Gulls Lacrosse. A Baltimore native, she began her collegiate career as a freshman defender at the University of Mary Washington, where she earned Capital Athletic Conference All-Conference and All-American honors and was selected to the North/South All-Star Team. She competed in the NCAA Tournament all four years, including two Final Four appearances, and is a two-time inductee into the UMW Hall of Fame.
Following graduation, Beth moved to England and coached professionally with the English Lacrosse Association. She also served on the physical education staff at The Queen's School and was head coach of Wirral Lacrosse Club, helping grow the game throughout the Cheshire region.
After returning to the United States, Beth spent five years coaching with Ravens Lacrosse Club. She later relocated to Savannah to attend graduate school at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she began coaching with Lowcountry Lacrosse. She went on to become Director of Savannah's girls youth programs and now leads the Savannah Gulls Lacrosse Club.
Off the field, Beth is an architect and a proud mom of two young lacrosse players.
Tessa is a freshman goalie at Clemson University, a top-15 Division I program. A native of Lutherville, she starred at Maryvale Preparatory School, leading her team to the IAAM "A" Conference Championship in 2025 and serving as a two-time varsity captain.
She earned Second Team All-Metro honors in 2025, was selected to the All America 2025 South Team, and recognized on the USA Lacrosse Mid-Atlantic All-Region Team. Tessa was also ranked by Inside Lacrosse as the No. 31 overall player and the No. 2 goalie in her class, earning 5-star recruit status. Earlier highlights include being named to the Best in Class Committed All-Event Team and a "Player That Impressed" in 2023.
Beyond the field, Tessa is passionate about growing the game. She has played for and coached young goalies with M&D Lacrosse Club, bringing energy, experience, and a love for developing the next generation.
What makes Tessa's story remarkable: she wasn't always great. She started as a kid who just wanted to save shots — and her refusal to stay average is exactly the mindset she brings to every player she coaches.
Lacrosse definitely chose me. When I was 6 years old I did not like lacrosse but being from Maryland where everyone around me played, I decided to try again. I originally started as a midfielder and absolutely hated to run so I decided to try goalie. I was not very good but I was very proud of myself for being able to save the ball every once in a while. I gained the competitive edge and kept playing because I wanted to save as many shots as I could. From that point on I never saw the field in any position other than goalie. I loved having a sport that was common with all of my friends and stuck with it!
